2008 Summer Day Camps
Five Weeks of Summer Day Camp Offered
Summer Day Camps are open to youth and teens (ages 5-19) with physical and/or developmental disabilities as well as those without disabilities. This inclusive experience allows siblings to attend camp together and promotes growth in a fun and |
challenging environment.

5 - 11 Years old.
- Ages for Teen
Day Camps are
12 - 19 years old.
Summer Day Camps provide a full schedule of activities, lunch and snack,counselors,

| program leaders, on-site nursing care and a new adventure every day. Examples of program activities include swimming, fishing, canoeing, climbing (on belay!), sports, archery, creekin', nature exploration, arts and crafts, |
|
|
cooking, theater, campfire, dancing and more!
A fully equipped Health Services Center and Nurses Quarters with a
|
team of nurses that administer all camper medications and medical treatments are provided. All meals and snacks are provided with healthy choices available. Special diets can be accommodated. Items such as Recreation Unlimited sweatshirts and t-shirts are available at the camp store for purchase that enables the campers to go home with a souvenir from camp.
Summer Day Camps are Monday through Friday. Arrival time is 9:00 a.m. and departure time is 4:00 p.m. daily.
Fees and Funding
At this time, the Summer Day Camp fee is $250 per week, plus a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $25 that must accompany the registration form. Campers may qualify for financial assistance from county or state agencies, or local service organizations. Level One Waiver may also be used to pay your camp fees. Please contact your service coordinator to have camp fees added to your Individual Service Plan. Otherwise, contact the relevant government agency or local service organization for specific funding information. |

Send in Your Registration!
Registrations are held on a first-come, first-served basis. You may sign up for as many weeks as you would like. After you send in your registration and registration fee, a camper application, including
|
|
| physical form will will be sent to you for completion. Acceptance to camp is based on review and approval of the camper application, physical form completed and signed by your physician, and camp capacities.
Level One Waiver and Family Resources money cannot be used to pay the $25 non-refundable registration fee.
