According to the CDC FluView, Ohio has been designated as "Widespread" which means we have a very high level of Flu and Influenza-like illnesses at this time. As advocates of our campers’ health and safety we ask that you do not send campers to camp who show any possible signs of the Flu. The Flu is a highly contagious respiratory illness and those who have it may exhibit some or all of the following symptoms:
Fever or feeling feverish/chills (not everyone with the flu has a fever)
If a camper exhibits these symptoms while at camp, we will notify you to come and pick him/her up so we can limit the exposure to the other campers.
We are planning for a happy and healthy new year at camp and need your help in screening campers before coming to camp with possible Flu symptoms. We continue our commitment to safety and wellness at camp. Please feel free to call us with any questions regarding this matter.
